Would you let your partner be a sperm donor? (by james85)

Would you let your partner be a sperm donor? It's a real life dilemma after one woman wrote to a problem page saying she doesn't want her partner to help a long time lesbian pal have a baby even though he has already helped her have a child. His partner also wants another baby - they already have a son together - but feels uncomfortable with their boy having half siblings running around all over the place. Do you have any sympathies for this lady? Also (for guys) would you let your partner be a surrogate mum?

I know this sounds harsh and probly even homophobic but i think she is right imo if you are meant to have children it will happen and if your not it wont i dont think invitro and surrogacy is right.

I don't thinking they were' helping " their friend. Maybe they helped their egos. And the friend was selfish. Now the adult relationships are destroyed. And the children will want & probably will find a way to have a relationship together as siblings. ( no matter what craziness & drama the adults do).

Sadly the only natural thing from this is the "sibling relationship" , half or not.
The adults " choose " this, God didn't. Eventually the courts will have to decide. (visitation, etc),

Wow u people r sad. The gift of life. I'm no parent but I'm a very dedicated uncle. What sickens me more is the way u all look at this. Hypocrising a lesbian couple for wanting kids I'd do it what sickens me more is that u throw God In there like he's gonna say don't do that. Lmao. What it is is that u can't stand change. I'm not a same sex individual but I got friends that are and I'd donate my sperm for them to have kids. It just a sad lot. Lol.

I meant you're all sad lot of people. I bet if this sights lgbt community see this post you'd have to explain bcuz some of them deserve kids. God accepts all bcuz he made all. I was taught to each is own and don't force it beliefs. That's all Christians are they started a war in the middle ages for Christ sake so I'm not surprised that they have a hate of gays too.

Um sorry but u blasted them for not being able to have kids times have changed but it seems people haven't all they did was replace color with sexuality. And u said that invito and surrogacy isn't right why's that? What bat couples who r sterile but want kids and their straight are u gonna say that's wrong too?

@xylr0: Wow.. I just posted my opinion on this one particular case. I did not bring sexuality or Christianty or the Roman Catholic Crusades into it. If your assuming that it is ONLY Christians who are against invitro or surrogacy, or homosexuality.. Then you may be posting a few days. Muslims have the death penalty for homosexuality, & Hindu & Buddhist probably aren't planning to return as homosexuals or via test tube or syringe....And most Christians & Jews won't debate it either.. because Faith doesn't change.
You may be on this thread awhile.
