They have diners with names like Browns, The Red Shed, The Burger Shack, and The Dairy Hut....and its some of the best gotdang food around.

Friendly, clean, good school districts, community involvement...but they can differ. I grew up in Friendswood TX which is considered small ..then when I went to college in a small town, that town was completely different...not in a better way lol

@mrb89: Ever been to one of those clannish ones? Where everyone seems to be related? lol Not very friendly to strangers at all....and if ya see an inbred kid playin banjo on the porch, run! hahaha!

I know several towns like that (minus the banjo playing inbred).
If you weren't born there, you're never going to really be welcome there.
