Left a child in the car ALL day? (by WalkSoftly)

I hadnt really looked into this story until now...."forgot" my ass....

"" The Georgia father accused of leaving his 22-
month-old son in a hot car for hours last
week will not attend the toddler's funeral in
Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, according
to Nancy Bodiford with the Cobb County
Sheriffs Office.
Justin Ross Harris is currently behind bars,
facing charges of second-degree cruelty to a
child and felony murder. He has pleaded not
guilty. Harris said he forgot to drop his
toddler, Cooper, off at day care, accidentally
leaving the boy in the hot car.
Police say Cooper was left behind for seven
hours on a day when temperatures outside
reached the mid-90s. The child's cause of
death is consistent with hyperthermia,
according to a medical examiner.
Police seized a computer from Harris'
workplace and discovered that he searched
online for "how long does it take for an animal
to die in a hot car" before his son's death, a
source with knowledge of the investigation
confirmed to HLN's Nancy Grace Thursday.
Cooper's mother, Leanna Harris, asked police
if she could get photos of the boy, which she
wants to use at his funeral, from one of the
seized computers. Her request, however, was
denied, according to Justin Harris' attorney,
Maddox Kilgore.
"If we have evidence, we will not be releasing
that due to chain of custody issues," Michael
Bowman with the Cobb County Police
Department told CNN. He would not confirm
what evidence, if any, is in their possession.
A criminal warrant released Wednesday claims
that during lunch, Justin Harris "did access
the same vehicle through the driver's side
door to place an object into the vehicle. Said
accused then closed the door and left the car,
re-entering his place of business."
A witness who works at a pizza shop in
the Akers Mills Square Shopping Center
described a harrowing scene when Harris
approached the store on June 18.
“The car drove up right by the store. An
employee came in and said, ‘Call for an
ambulance,’ so I dialed it and I walked
outside,” said Rodney Smith.
“The child looked sweaty and tired. Two guys
started to give the boy CPR. I was on the curb
and the father and another individual brought
the boy out. The father kept circling around us
yelling and screaming, “What did I do? Oh my
God, my child is dead!” Smith added.""

Idk....its supposedly a complicated case (or so Ive heard). The mom says he was a great dad and it was she who made the internet search....just forgetting the internet search, and playing devils advocate that it wasnt intentional, he shld still be locked away forever for being a major dumb ass.

And I need a shower after reading, and now typing, Nancy Graces name

They're charging him with second degree because it's easier to prove. After Casey Anthony they have to make sure he gets locked up. They have plenty of time to change the charges to first degree if they get stronger info.
