Do you keep pictures, texts, letters/cards from your ex?

I still have letters from my ex from when he first joined the National Guard. I honestly don't know what they say anymore, but I just can't throw them away...

If its not alive and breathing i dont keep it. I have enough of my own stuff so i dont need somebody else's whatever it may be.

I haven't kept anything from any of my exes. Just me, but I don't see the point in hanging on to the past.

Y'all are right...he probably threw out the letters I sent him a long time ago!
As soon as I find where I put them, in the trash they go!!

I have many keepsakes...some from exes some not. In my career I have had the opportunity to visit with many elderly persons. One of my favorite things was to go thru their 'things' with them...take a walk down their memory lane as it were. Seeing how often all that remained was their memories of what had gone before and the way that physical items triggered such powerful emotion was very impactful to me. I may have no need of "stuff" right now....but who knows what the future holds? If the man meant something to you or taught u something u wanna remember then keep that physical reminder tucked away if u want to.
