I'm not sure what the exchange rate is but 1000 GBP sounds reasonable. You WILL spend far more than that if you do a proper restoration. That car restored to factory new condition, being one of the less popular colors, would bring enough to buy a good house on this side of the pond.

@BigPapaRedneck: no doubt, it would be worth a fortune, just about anywhere, not to mention a treasure of a fine...grab it before its gone I say, you got the shop, and the paint,, my favorite color on a car is airplane paint, Emron, firethorn red.

@Lionface: .To properly restore a Hemi 'Cuda you have to put it back in the original paint. It makes it more valuable in it's original state. If you've ever watched the big auctions on tv the full factory spec cars almost always outsell the custom painted ones with the exception of special cars like Sammy Hagar's "Red Rocker" Mustang or Hot Rod's "F-Bomb" Camaro.

@MikeN2014: Sheit, I wish. If you go to the thread about serial killer calling cards you'll get the backstory on this. I created this thread to avoid being dunced by Andreas for being off topic on that one. Closest I'll ever get to a Hemi 'Cuda is a car show. Although I did go for a ride once in a Super Bee. Cars like that are almost better than sex. Almost.

@BigPapaRedneck: we have a lot of drag racers in my family, even my mom would street race lol , I'm on the hunt now for a project car, past up a duster, I'm looking for a little more bang for the buck, maybe a SS Camaro 69 model, or a challenger, that would be awesome. Man, I got the need for speed...!

and me and notlikeothers got off topic a little LMAO....

From what this guy has said it has a lot of rust on the body, needs new wheels and alloys, engine doesn't seem to start up but ticks over (my friend said he'd help with the engine), I'm guessing it'll need a hell of a lot of work but I also help restore ww2 aircraft from wreckage so I'm sure a car should be no problem.
The colour that the car is in, is a dark green colour.
I shall keep you updated as wether I get it or not.
