Its World Cup time again....help a Yank out (by WalkSoftly)

I admitedly am not an everyday soccer fan, but I will watch the World Cup (to hell with the NBA finals). So, soccer fans outside the U.S., tell me which matches are "must see". Who are the top teams to watch?

And give me an honest assessment of the U.S.team.....I dont trust the drivel coming out over here....theyre probably only trying to blow smoke up my ass.

Thanks in advance

I just watched chile beat the aussies 3 to 1 we played well but not good enough ! The yanks are probly on the same level as oz not up to the top teams (brazil ,netherlands, france, spain the current champs, germany , england ) i will be suprised if the yanks and aussies make it through to the next round walks
