What does such a relationship mean to you? Ever had one? Want one? What are ground rules?

I would not want a relationship like that, i would have feelings for her and i guess thats one of the main rules of fwb that you cant.

This is crazy...I just had a friend offer this to me a few nights ago. I said no because I'm his supervisor and he's bisexual.


Anyway, I'd have no problem with it if there were a few contingencies. Talk about what you're getting into BEFORE the sex. We shouldn't be having sex with a bunch of other people (I'd probably stick to just them) and if at any point one or both wants more, there has to be an open discussion.

I've never had a fwb, but it seems like a win-win...until someone gets hurt. But, maybe that's avoidable if the rules are followed.

Mmm, I don't know..is it not feasible to have feelings for a friend and still remain friends? I think sex would complicate it a little more, but if you both want it...maybe it wouldn't be that big of a deal?

I don't see anything wrong with it if both of you are on the same page about everything, I think it would work out if the two people are not looking for a relationship at the moment and neither one will make it uncomfortable or strange around other people.....keep it between the two of you and it works a lot better
