What do you think about this Donald Sterling racist recording debacle? A friend played the recording for me the other day and even though it sounds set up to me, he said some really racist things.

Was it edited? Did his gf already know he was racist and just wanna frame him? Or was he aware he was being recorded?

If you were a Clippers player would you go on strike?

Fined by the NBA?

Yea...the commisioner banned him.....guess he has to sell the franchise and they take the $2.5 mil off the top.

I belive he was set up for monetary gain and when he wouldn't pay or stoped paying the recording came out. do i think he's a racist? yes, not just because of this there have been other instances as well he's just been able to downplay them

Also, I just wanna add... NOBODY hates Magic Johnson!!! Lol

Sunday is Mr. Sterling,” said Silver, who is
confronting his first major crisis since he
was named commissioner in February. “The
views expressed by Mr. Sterling are deeply
offensive and harmful.”
Sterling's comments caused a wave of
outrage in a league that was on the
forefront of racial integration in U.S.
professional sports and where most of the
players are black. Obama, the first black
U.S. president, called Sterling's comments
“incredibly offensive racist statements.”
The ban may not be enough for some critics,
who called on Sterling to give up ownership
of the Clippers, though observers said the
other 29 owners of NBA franchises were not
likely to back any move that could set a
precedent that would harm their property
rights.
Silver said he would call on the owners to
vote to force Sterling to sell the team. Such
a move would require approval of three-
