I've known this gal for about a decade now. I consider her a friend. We met working in a call center and I've always been attracted to her and admired her from afar. Her last boyfriend turned out to be a total ja.ckass and I told her she needed to find someone who'd treat her like a goddess and that even if it was as a best friend I wanted to play a more prominent role in her life. She told me she's suffering from what she described as a disease that's attacking her brain and muscles(not sure but I think it's MS). How do I get her to realize that I want to be there for her even if it means that during the bad times I'd have to basically be a nursemaid for her? It makes my heart hurt to know that she thinks that if she gives her heart away it's only gonna lead to more pain. I'm so ready to man up, be there, and take the good with the bad to let her know that she's kissed too many frogs and that a prince is ready to show her some well deserved love. Thoughts?

You pretty much answered it yourself mate. You gotta show her. You can tell a woman countless times, but you have to just..as you said, man up and show her. Yeah, its gonna hurt but you have to ask yourself if shes worth it. If she is then the outcome will be greater than the pain bro. Theres a saying, If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you're not worthy. Think about it man.
