Contact Restrictions (by mrb89)

I have mine set to US only, yet still have gotten mail from someone (not premium) very much outside the US... how is that possible? If I ever talked to this person before it was AGES ago... so how do they keep getting into my mailbox? Just wondering, as it's frustrating. I have those restrictions set for a reason and am annoyed they appear to not be working, I could understand if said person was premium, but as I said they aren't.

@mrb89: Exceptions: With the exception of the Pic and Profile restrictions, your Contact Restrictions will be automatically ignored by users that you've contacted in the past. Sorry to cut and paste from the site megs thought that it would be the best way to explain it. :/

@james85: but I dont recall ever talking to this user, thus my confusion. LoL. And if I had it's been well over a year.

Please PM me their username so I can check to see whether you've contacted them before.

You contacted the user in question for the first time on Tue, 20 Aug 2013 09:57:35 GMT.

That's why they are able to override your Contact Restrictions.

@Andres: I see. My next question then is: is there no way to make it so if it's been over a certain amount of time (perhaps a year) then it no longer counts as having contacted that person? If that is not doable I understand, just wondering.
