Ozzyozborn here. Is anyone else gettin' identified as anothers' username in their posts? I'm now gothalien for some reason. Just jumped off and back on again, we'll see if that helps :)

Thanks for reporting this, guys. This is the 3rd time this happens.

Has this happened to anyone else or just the two of you?

Did logging out and logging back in fix the problem?

Could you please list all your posts that appear under a different name? Here are all of gothalien19's posts and here are all of OzzyOzborn's posts. Please go through the latest posts and let me know which one's are from you and not the listed username.

The last time this happened, I enabled the logs to keep track of what is going on behind-the-scenes to help me investigate this and get to the bottom of it so I can fix it. Please provide as many details as possible to help my investigation as I have absolutely no idea why this incredibly annoying problem keeps happening, although it only seems to happen on the days I update the site. Between the logs and the info you supply, I can hopefully figure out what is going on and fix it.

Thanks for your help!

Were you posting as someone else or was someone else posting as you?

UPDATE: I've checked the logs and found a pattern when this issue occurs. Although I still haven't uncovered the root cause of this issue, this pattern has allowed me to set a few "mouse traps" in key places to further investigate this issue when it happens again. So it's not yet fixed, but I'm getting closer. This means it will happen again, but when it does, I'll be able to check the mouse traps to see what it caught and hopefully figure out the root cause of this mysterious behavior and fix it once and for all.

What I do know is that it seems to happen when a user is logged off of Dating.mobi (e.g. because they timed out), but still logged into the Forum. That's why logging off and back on to Dating.mobi should fix this for users when it happens, at least until I fix the underlying cause.

I'll report back as soon as I know more. Sorry about this, folks, and thanks for your patience!

Alright folks, good news! I think I've finally fixed this problem once and for all!

So it should never happen again. If it does, kindly let me know as soon as possible so I can grab my keyboard and smack it on my head.
