Well gay advocacy groups have been banned again from marching in the new york st paddys day parade , and rightly so imo cuz the parade is organised privately by the ancient order of Hibernians i think , and they want to keep the parade about st patrick and being Irish , so the parade shouldnt be hijacked by people who just wanna show the world how gay they are by dressing up in weird leather gimp leprechaun outfits and the like , gays themselves are welcome to march though just as long as they dont act gay or use the parade as a sort of protest , so thats one instance of discrimination that is perfectly legal and acceptable imo

@LaDawn:
In addition to the protections against
discrimination provided under federal law,
many states have passed their own Civil
Rights Acts that provide broader protections
than the Federal Civil Rights Act. For
example, California's Unruh Civil Rights Act
makes it illegal to discriminate against
individuals based on unconventional dress
or
sexual preference.""
Insert CO for CA and theres your answer.....

@LaDawn: Heard an interesting theory abt that....it compared liberalism and conservatism to a swinging pendulum.....and says its abt at its liberal peak....I can only hope so.

I think of myself as a liberal.....but, yea there is a but, I don't see how forcing one man to go against his religion so that two other men don't feel uncomfortable has become acceptable in this nation founded on freedom!
