Solution, I don't have one. Im only empathizing with the OP & offering an answer as to why this happens. What each woman chooses to do or not do, is up to them. It has nothing to do with "insecurity or big girl panties". Viewing that way is saying "let us say what we want to you & accept it , & post anyway"

@WalkSoftly: You, yourself posted in "the death of Dating.mobi " thread that " pervy men were chaseing women away or making them hesitate or reluctant " . So few women here now. It was 5-1 by Andres quote,(I believe) when I arrived (prior to the expansion)11 months ago. Im sure the odds are even greater now.

It effected you some way. You made the thread. Yes.. Would be great if everyone in Dating.mobi read them. But we can only be responsible for our actions, inactions, reactions. So we ( women esp.) have choices... To respond, ignore, avoid etc. DATING, INBOXING, POSTING, PROFILES... All choices, for each individual.

True...but there still were women posting on that other thread in question....including this threads OP. Why do they not have a problem posting in those threads. Why is that? Maybe we need more like them on.
Btw, I still dont quite buy the whole "not posting because of pervs" excuse. Those types of threads have been few and far between for awhile now. And that certainly wldnt keep them from posting on other threads, which they dont do.
Again, I ask for solutions.

@Zilya777: And speaking of solutions, I actually have a few ideas....one I think, you may have suggested once before, not sure....an "off" switch for msgs. One cld then surf whatever forum they wanted w/o fear of a flooded mailbox because of something they said out here.

First of all I did not make the thread mentioned, walks did-all I did was make a funny comment on it..and I have upped my restrictions now so Im hopin that helps. Still dont agree that it should affect me when a persons culture clashes w how I am as a female...especially when I clearly state in my profile that Im only interested in men from my area-I believe that rules out most different cultures...
