I need some advice (by OmgItsJessi)
As most of yall know my plans to room in with gabe today so he can come home tomorrow. Well most of yall also know that my grandma has stage 4 cancer and wasnt given long to live. My mom just called and said she is unresponsive and the rescue squad is taking her to the hospital (a different one than gabe is in). All my kids are already at the baby sitters house. What should i do now? Do i still go to the nicu? Do i go to the hospital with my grandma? Do i call and tell my daughter? Help!
Oh Jess! I'm so sorry...but do what your gut tells you to do..there is no right or wrong answer here. Tis a difficult situation.
Awww :-( Can u go see your grandma for a short while then go to Gabe? I dont know the distance between the two.
Im a hour from the hospital where my grandma is and 2 hours from uva. But i think im just going to go uva. If my grandma is already unresponsive than theres nothing i can do there anyways. She made her peace and was ready to die so i dont even really understand why they took her to the hospital instead of respecting her wishes. I think im more worried about how my daughter is gonna react. But she is 40 minutes in the other direction
@OmgItsJessi: Its a tough situation....youre in my thoughts and prayers, as always.
Can you believe that today was a sh.itty day even before i got that call. But if that da.mn eye dr wont discharge gabe it may be my breaking point
My thoughts and prayers are with you too Jess. I sure hope the eye doc report is favorable.
And i just called the nicu and the eye dr is letting gabe come home tomorrow... Im in the taxi now and its kinda weird riding with a complete stranger.. Havent did that sober before lol
