For those of you who are Christians,Jews or Muslims,or someone who just believes in God,Satan,Heaven and Hell....whatever religion you may be,Do you think somebody will go to Hell,if they commit suicide?

I go back and forth on that. I know what the bible says. Yes. But all the time i hear that god wont give u more than u can handle. Apparently its not so. As a parent i would forgive my child anything. But suicide is an absolute lack of faith.. As i said i go back and forth.

I don't think they do, because once saved, I believe it is not lost.
And even if you commit a sin, such as taking a life (in this case your own) the bible says that our sins are forgiven...
but that is just my thoughts.

No, and nowhere does the bible say that. What it says is that those separated from god will go to sheol which is a grave for souls and will be ressurected on judgement day and be judged by christ and then thrown into the lake of fire or be forgiven and welcomed into paradise. (and the dead shall rise, every knee will bow and every toungue confess) I don't know where people get the idea that anyone goes to hell or heaven including those who commit suicide. Also when jesus appeared to the disciples and they asked what of the fate of the one who betrayed him and took his own life his answer was simple: he told them to mind their own business and worry about their own fate. That being said, if christ died for our sins then how would it be possible for me to commit a sin that would negate his grace? Suicide is never about dying or defying god it's a desperate attempt to stop hurting, there is always another way to freedom though unfortunately some will not look for it

Where in the bible do ppl get that suicide is an unforgivable sin? I can't find it.

I think that u will go to hell if u kill your salf that is just me

I believe there r 2 unforgivable sins and suicide is one of them. i hate to say tht cuz i have 3 cousins who i will not c in heaven.

My faith gets the idea from 2 places. The sixth commandment of course and i will have to look up the exact loc but where it says blasphemies against christ will be pardoned but against the holy spirit will not be. Many believe the greatest blasphemy is suicide especially if saved. We all carry peice of holy spirit so to kill self u blaspheme. And if saved and shown grace and still kill self is worse. Just what i was taught.

I just gonna say im not sure on this. Blasphemey is against god and his son. I cant find any part of the bible thats says it is. As someone said god doesnt send you what you cant handle that is true. But satan can and will at your breaking point. Ive always learned the easy way out is not the best in anything. Everything earned is to be respected and honored from children to good jobs and worth fighting for especially life. No life can be replaced. Everyone has a journey in this life to be fullfilled before they are called home. So let me research my bible somemore. But i will still beleive everyone has a purpose in life.
