Kate nestled down against me,finally our hearts regained a regular beat. Both of us smiling and content for the moment. "I thought you would never kiss me!" Kate nuzzled closer. " I thought about kissing you at least a thousand times,but never knew when I would." He replied looking down at her ,he remembered when she was just a spindly knock knee girl of ten,with freckles and red hair,he lost his heart that day,now ten years later he wasn't going back. "Well,I guess we better tell your dad,and I will find out if I still have a job." Kate giggled beside him" oh you let me worry about daddy" kate said as she placed a peck on his cheek.
