I have to say that I am a huge fanatic about our solar system and the mysteries that it entails.
But let's get down to brass tax.
We all know that the earth has encountered numerous asteroid attacks, when it was a newborn, it had a collision with another planet almost destroying it hence the reason we have a beautiful moon to guide us on are earthly travels at night.
Scientist have gladly predicted when are Sun will turn red giant, somewhere between 4.5 and 5 billion yrs from now.
But could they be wrong? What if we woke up tomorrow and read in news and on tv that scientist miscalculated and the sun was to turn red giant in the next 15-20 Yrs?
What would earth be like? Do you think we could survive? And if so how?
It's clear that the dinosaurs didn't survive the mt Everest sized asteroid that smacked into the Yucatan Peninsula 65 million yrs ago? Is the human race next? These are questions that boggle my mind and I want to know how ppl feel about this Sun dooming event that could happen If scientist are wrong.
