I am feeling like sharing my poems today...
so every so often, expect to see one lol

I push and I shove
trying to break out
of the prison bars of pain
I have around my heart,
but I'm finding that the freedom
of the light of day,
just shines on the hurt and pain.
The waves of pain and memories that flood me,
tell me that it's not getting better.
The darkness might just be masking the truth,
but at least then I feel like I can hide it.
Even just for a few hours,
I can act like I'm okay,
because when the morning sun shine's down on me,
the pain is my only friend.
