I have poison
flowing through my heart
and I can't get rid of it,
so I sit here in my room
my music blaring,
and still the tears won't come,
I'm broken
and it's not being fixed anytime soon:
how do you fix years
of brokenness?
I just wanna let it out,
I just wanna be free from this pain,
but there seems to be no escape.
I'm in a prison of your making
and I'm the only one with the key,
but its lost deep inside of me.
I've tried to scream,
I've tried to force it out
but still
they just won't be freed.
I hate you for this,
but I love you just the same:
you were supposed to protect me from this stuff,
but it's because of you that I feel this way.
I'm in pain
and no one is around to reach their arms around me.
Why'd you use me as a pawn
in your sick game?

This is so good and heartfelt. i've suffered a bit of writers block but i would like to post my next poem soon, and as ive said before you have a really amazing poetry talent :)
