Andres i remember getting dunced before because i commented on a guys thread about his broken heart that he must not of cared too much about his girlfriend when he kept trying to talk to me. After that i dont remember excatly what he said but it was against the rules. I privated messaged you and you said i got a dunce because i made the thread personal and he did not get a dunce because i provoked his reaction... How is that different from a troll provoking a reaction out of anybody else?

When I had more time to dedicate to the Forums (particularly when they were smaller), I always tried to put myself in each person's shoes before handing out dunces for rule breaks. Now that the Forums have more users and a life of their own, I unfortunately don't have time to take context into consideration, so any and all rules breaks that I see are dealt with equally. The rules are posted on every page of the Forums, so there is no excuse not to follow them.

This doesn't mean every rule break results in a dunce, however, because I have to see it in order to take action upon it. And for me to see it, it needs to be reported. And even then, I might miss it if too many posts were reported that day or if I haven't had time to check the reports and then they get pushed to the bottom by more recent reports. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to automate the duncing because I have to check each report manually and individually to make sure they're legitimate. It's very time-consuming and an aspect of this job that I hate because it adds little value to the site yet consumes a lot of time. It would be a lot easier if everyone just followed the rules.

@Andres: Truly it would be easier if everyone used the report, dump& ignore method:) But there are extenuating circumstances in certain cases of profiles on this site that I would hope you are aware of...Christie can fill you in if she has not attempted to do so yet. Seriously Andres-there are a few that are truly trying to cause havoc on your site, and when long time loyal members fight back they are disciplined-yes rules are rules, but please check into these certain few that are disrupting your site and at least acknowledge that your faithful members deserve a thank you at least, for attempting to defend Dating.mobi; even if their methods broke the rules...I gotta tell ya-I am on NO other forum on No other site because this site cares..I feel that you have the most Safe, Comprehensive, welcoming, decent dating site that I have tried:) Thank you for even responding to my suggestion:) No other site even compares when it comes to comparing your personal interaction w members and consideration of their feedback to their NON Participation :)
