Sleepless Nights (by mrb89)
Been Stuck with my writing so have been playing around with different things to try and get 'unstuck'. Here is the first thing to come out decent in a while.
Another 4am has
Come and gone
And still I am here
Awake and wanting
Wishing and hoping
For you.
Another night of
Lonely beds
And restless sleep
And glimpses of you
In the back of my mind.
Isn’t it funny how a year
Ago the thoughts of you
On my mind were: do I
Love you or not?
And now it’s
When will I finally get
To see you face to face
And kiss your lips with
All the sweetness and hunger
That comes from
Wanting and loving
Someone you’re not able
To have in your
Arms right away.
Another 4am has
