As to what may be making my truck like this. . Ok its a standard, it dont want to go more than 40mph when I push down on the accelerator it makes like a hissing type sound (almost sounds like the sound the carburator on an old push mower makes). It wont accelerate good when I get down on it. But rather I have to lightly pump the peddle to get up speed. When I first put gas in it Itll run normal for about a quarter mile or so, then itll start acting up again.

Clogged up fuel line or fuel pump is my best guess

Sounds to me like you have something in your fuel tank sucking up onto your fuel pump

If your truck sat for more than 10 days a number of times then it could be that the ethanol in your gas broke down and crystallized in your fuel injectors. A simple fix is to go to an automotive store and get a bottle of "sea foam" but it has to be the liquid additive for your fuel tank and not the spray can stuff. Then pour it into your fuel tank and run it for 20 minutes. It should run like new ! :)

@ScorpionStar: then I guarantee that's the problem. Its a cheap fix too. Sea foam is about 10 bucks a bottle
