"true love" (by magdalena)

I sometimes wonder if there is still such a thing as "true love". People are so fake these days. So, how do you know when some one is telling the truth when they say they like or love you? Trust has become something you can't give out freely anymore, and love has become a weapon people use to get what they want. I want a relationship. I've become lonely. But the problem is now I have to choose between being lonely, and being used, and having my heart broken. Aw. I wish it could just be easier than this...

@Quietone78: it was part of a speech by Theodore Rosevelt.
