Bullying VS Opinion... (by IndianDreamer)

Seriously people-lol went from callin yall folks, to callin yall people...Mmmm-k so...When does an opinion, or several similar opinions become what some may cite as 'bullying'? My 'opinion' is... any time someone has an opinion or suggestion that is not what I have been raised to know, I tend to offer reasons for my adverse beliefs...AKA when several people believe in one opinion and say so-it is sometimes considered bullying...Know the facts, use protection, and above all else...DONT ALLOW ADVERSE OPINIONS? LOL jus kiddin-Dont confuse opinion for bullying just because one opinion makes you feel bad for the person... :)

I've said it before, and I will say it again....when a poster makes outlandish claims or comments, they will be called out on it. Yes, you are free to post whatever you wish...just as I am free to post a reaction to it.

I (and this is me, and only me) do not see this as "bullying". A reaction to a post isn't bullying. If I happen to find your profile picture unattractive and dedicate an entire thread on how ugly you are...THAT would be bullying. When I form an opinion about your words based on what you have posted, and call you out on it...that ISN'T bullying. And you are just as free to react (i.e., call me names, question my sexuality, personal insults) to whatever I post.

Again, to use a quote I'm fond of..."if you run into an @sshole in the morning..he's the @sshole . If you run into @ssholes all day? You might be the @sshole"

@IndianDreamer: opinions can be given & shared without hurling insults and/or name calling. such tactics are rude & undesirable. when anyone uses such rvde behavior repeatedly against others then it qualifies as bullying in my book.

I consider bullying as threats or something of the sort. If someone calls me a b*tch on here, I think to myself...thanks for noticing....call me a hoe...I think they're jealous...say you're gonna hunt me down and chop me into little pieces...THEN I will feel bullied. Does a group become more intimidating when bring called names...ofcourse it does...but there is a delete or log out or even a dump button at everyone's disposal....js. I think to many take getting their feelings hurt for bullying. If that's the case...then we are all probably a victim

@Briteeyes: you have valid points there, & im not arguing against them. my point is that when the same member posts anything here & is immediately criticised, called names, personally insulted day after day 24/7 then its not healthy for the site or its members. we dont have to agree with each other on every little detail, but we can all show common courtesy even when we dont agree.
