So im looking into getting a vehicle. I dont really care what it looks like. I only care that it is in good running condition and the gas milage. What would be some things to keep an eye out while looking to be sure that the car is worth the price and some advice to actually know how good the gas milage is?

I always thought the smaller the motor better MPG it will get. Check for leaks under the car on the ground & on the motor. When you test drive it from a dead stop punch the gas peddle if it doesn't have any get up & go leave it but before you do that make sure it has good brakes 1st LOL

@LeoRainsAverage: Yes the difference between 4 6 & 8 is sometimes a big deal but you do know the lower the number the less power the car will have but better MPG. Be sure to get a good set of tires too and that the transmission shifts easy as well. Trouble with used cars is you never know when something could go wrong no matter how well you check it over.
