My story (by james85)

Hi everyone the reasons i am posting my story are 1: inspiration and a boost from Irishlove 1988 2: me taking part in the lounge last night. So here goes: i was very lazy in my childhood, got bullied at school and hardly did any homework, in fact to this day i am still surprised by the grades i got. Once my bully moved on i thought this is my chance but two things happened: my parents divorce and falling in love for the first time, i was brought up with christian values and i prayed for me and her to be together, when it didnt happen, i blamed everyone but myself even God, and lost my faith. After this all i did was took care of my sick mum, not having a social life or the oppertunity to move on, even walking away from my only friend thats how bad i was.

(continued) then on the third of september last year i did something i hadnt done for 8 years i got on my knees and prayed. my prayers were answered through a training course i did, where i met my two special female friends i mentioned in a previous post. now i have friends when i had none, ive been steadily building my life and i hope to do some volunteering soon and also take up Karate, im just trying new things and thats why i joined the lounge last night and i really enjoyed it, im moving forward with my life one day at a time. I am very protective and respectful to females, so im glad u all accepted me and i did promise irishlove a wee dance next time lol. Thanks for reading, this is the power of friendship
