We all have those people do you have tried to give us advice especially when we were younger that we all ignored and that maybe looking back wish we would have listened to sooner...for tme it was my pops (granddad) who now i know was choke full of more wisdom then a month off sunday sermons... 1 thing that I get now that for some reason I just never did before is too slow the hell down life is no damn race slow down and take time to enjoy it because it goes quicker than you think

My third grade teacher, Mrs Cross (yea that REALLY was her name) she tried to make me see that I didnt have to always PROVE I was right by arguing...I remember her saying not to cast my pearls before swine....It took yrs before I finally GOT what she meant!

When i was 15 i met a man that new i was going down the wrong road and for monthes he tried to give me a life time of knowledge. And i didnt really get it then. But if i had life would have been alout better.

When i was young i didnt get along with my mom, my fav aunt let me stay with her a week, we did everything that me and my mom never did together. I remember being able to buy something b4 going home & i wanted to buy my mom something instead of myself, my aunt gave me a girl to girl talk, i seen at that moment that my mom loved me nomatter what we were going thru, i still think shes nuts sometimes, but i ignored my mom when i shouldnt have.Another person tht i didnt like (a diff aunt) i couldnt stand her, well she taught me things & dont even know it. I remember going out to eat & her sitting there not touching anything, when asked she said its polite to wait for the host (the person paying) to take the first bite. I thought she was crazy. But now, i do it myself, it makes sense, i wait for the man to start eating b4 me at all times, (jus outta respect nomatter whos hosting) and if im with friends at their treat, they take the first nibble then i follow.

My elders :(. I'm stubborn at times. I stand on what i believe is right and tend not to listen . Well, if i'd listen to them, my life would be different i guess but......

I'm extremely stubborn. I never think I know every thing but most of the time I do things the hard way. I now find myself telling my sister things I had to learn the hard way. I don't push her though. I give her advice and let it be her choice on whether she wants to take it. And then be there for the times she chooses not to.
