I've been out of the dating game a while and now I'm scared of actually meeting up with some1 4 the first time. i worry about so many things n what they'd think about me as my self confidence is low. the last time i went to meet someone they didn't even show n it knocked me back. anyone gone thru similar thing??

First, its not the end of the world! If they like you, they like you, if they dont then oh well. The right person will like you no matter what!

So have fun with the good times, forget the bad. Keep on smiling and eventually that smile is going to lead the right one to you.

Yeah, i had the same situation as yourself, i remember that day very well, the thing is though we did eventually meet but it was a one off thing, but i remember that day too. I guess the only piece of advice i can give is be yourself and enjoy it, cause i did just that. it didnt work out in the end but even having the experiance of dating gave me a huge boost in my self confidance. @gemolly i have wondered how to get the nerve to meet up and start dating again myself. Especially meeting someone from online, but im goin for it, im meeting sumone this wkend that so far i really like, i can see myself with him. I jus hope the feeling is mutual. We r all scared of rejection. Jus be true to ur self and remember we all deserve to be happy.
