Beer Battered Beer Brats Wrapped In Bacon (by AprilLove)
(or a heart attack on a bun)
I am always making new recipes... been thinking about this one for a week... finally made it tonight & it was better than it sounds.
Beer Batter----
1/2 cup dark beer
1/2 cup seltzer water or club soda
1 tablespoon oil
1 egg white
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Boil Brats in Beer
Dip boiled Brats in Beer Batter
Drop in deep fryer. Until brown
Pull out of deep fryer
Wrap in Bacon
Fry in frying pan (or maybe a grill?)
Put on bun
Top accordingly
Eat.

I oiginally was going to dip the brats in beer batter wrap w/ bacon then deep fry. But the bacon wouldn't keep is awesome flavor

Wow, that sounds delicious!!! I'll have 6 please ;-D lol. I'll try that recipe ;-)
I should make my own recipe book w/ the stuff I come up with. I made a Stoners Cook Book years ago. Lol
You can also use that batter for other Beer Battered things. Fries, Onion Rings, Fish, o0 BURGERS!
Sounds tasty i'm gonna have to jack some guiness batter from the pub this weekend

Lol sounds awesome:) I used to work at Johnsonville in Wisconsin-they got the best brats!:)
