What are some of the signs which you could tell that "I'm ready to date again"

I always wait til i am ok alone. Not thinkin about ex and back to lovin life.

Me i took seven years to get to know and like myself again. But each person is different and deals with it differently. I didnt feel like all men were to blame anymore. So thats how i knew i was ready. I like who i am again. Because back in the day i had such amosity towards men and myself.

Thank you guys for the input. Sometimes the memories of the ex is difficult to forget and a crazy thought of "maybe he'll come back"...prolongs the agony

I agree on waiting till thoughts of an ex have diminished for the most part, and sometimes that takes quite a bit of effort to do that, and it really is an effort to overcome feelings of loss and longing for someone sometimes. In my past I have tried to jump back into the 'game' too soon and have made bad choices simply because I was so anxious to replace feeling bad for feeling good again!
