My daddy passed away. I held his hand as he took his last breath. He fought 7 years with kidney failure, diabetes, and liver disease. Lost both his legs before he passed. A part of me died on this day 9 years ago today. I love and miss u daddy. U are always here with me in my heart.

Oh baby girl *hugs* its still tough after time isnt it? I was there with my daddy when he died of Pancreatic cancer and diabetes, I was 12 then, but it isnt something you forget is it? *hug again*

@Nzsweetie24: Hurts everyday. Time doesnt heal the pain, u just grow to adjust. Losing someone so close is undescribable. I was most definently a daddys girl. I took care of him his last 7 years....i was there ALWAYS. When he passed, i felt i had no purpose anymore....my daddy depended on me, relied on me....now i have no one that does. I still fight that issue everyday

I know how you feel, at least you had time to say goodbye, as for me my dad died suddenly of a heart attack, when i got to the hospital, they were already doing cpr on him, he never regained conciousness. after 14 years i still miss him so much.

@Briteeyes: *hugs* my parents are both alive, i haven't known the feeling but i'm so sure it doubles the pain when a relative passed by. *hugs* is all i can give. you're dad is just somewhere near you watching and guiding. :)
