dotted with silvery stars.
Deep darkness softened
by the pale moons glow.
Deafening silence
seeming to stretch on to eternity.
Shadows dancing on the walls
both scary and enthralling.
This is the dead of night!

Ooo, I looove this poem because the quiet and yet unpredictable nature of night surprises me all the time. I am always surprised at how quiet and peaceful things are at night and yet it has so much life going on in the sky and atmosphere. Just a great thing to behold. Thanks girl! :)))
