This Week's Dating.mobi Pet Peeve Confessional (by Andres)

Continuing this weekly series, please list your biggest pet peeve on the site. You know, the little (or big!) things you find annoying on the site that you would like fixed, changed, or removed. It can be things as simple as the location of a link on a certain page, to something as big as how an entire feature functions.

In return, I promise to fix at least 1 pet peeve every week.

I'm doing this because sometimes we just learn to "live with" pet peeves, but I don't want you guys to have to live with anything on the site that doesn't make your experience absolutely awesome, so this is a chance to get rid of those things that frustrate your experience here (note: your pet peeve cannot be another user! ;).

This isn't the place to request new features, as we already have an entire section for that. This is about giving you guys the opportunity to openly report issues with the site, while giving me a chance to hear directly from you guys and continuously improve the site on a weekly basis.

If you already see a pet peeve listed in the thread, make sure you also post about it so that I see which pet peeves are the most annoying and should be fixed first.

So what are you waiting for? Confess your biggest pet peeve on the site now!

The new forum reply messages sent to our inbox is for me very annoying. I keep on having to clear my inbox now to ensure I don't miss REAL messages. an option to accept or deny the reply messages would be a great solution.

i think an biggest pet peeve for me would be when i leave a form i have to keep going back to it to see if anyone posted on it or not so a soultion i think would be like a link on the home page that sends you to your forms that you have posted or posted on instead of going to your profile to go to one you posted or posted on or haveing to look it up

Hello andres i have a concern with when i'm online and all of a sudden your system keeps shutting down , if you can think of a way where people wont be interrupted because it's, just such a long process to get back online or you have to wait till the next day, if you can fix this that would be great other than that thank you and i enjoy the site : )

I guess how about when somebody who's contact restrictions you don't meet messages you and you can't message back, the reply button should bypass contact restrictions, I understand upgrading alliws you to, but I wouldn't want to new message someone who didn't want me to anyway, but allowing a reply would atleast give me a chance to be nice and not just seem like I'm too good to reply. That's all, great site.

Done! I added a "Forum Alerts" field to the "My Settings" page where you can enable or disable them.

Have you tried clicking the "Prior Posts" link at the top of the Forums? That shows you every thread you've posted in, and is accessible from every page of the Forums. Is that what you were looking for?

What do you mean by the "system keeps shutting down"? Could you please give me a few more specific details about what you're experiencing so I can fix this for you?

The reply button already automatically bypasses most Contact Restrictions, just not the Verified Pic and Phone restrictions. The reason for this is to keep scammers from baiting users to message them by using an attractive pic and then being able to reply to the victims freely by overriding their verified-type restrictions.

@Andres: What about in our inbox's when we have to clear them, instead of having to clear them ALL why not have little boxes next to each one so we can pick which ones we want to delete and which ones we want to keep
