No , not a good choice....cuz you probably be under so much pressure and dont back out that day....and revenge is never a good option! Be above his level you are smarter than that! You should never be a back up plan for anybody and definitely not a second choice! What he did to you and his son was heartless and karma will get him back! What comes around goes around.......
