Whats the big deal about pot anyways? Why do so many people hate it? Why is it thought to be such a coordination impedement? Please someone enlighten me. As someone who uses on a semi-regular basis for mental health, my thought on it is "sleepy, hungry, happy" not "dangerous, wreckless, stupid" are the effects. But what do other people think? The answers im particularly interested in would be those of religious folk. What does God think about pot? Please someone freakin answer!

I dont feel pot is bad a lot of my family smokes pot instead of takin perscribed pain pills n george carlin made a great statement bout pot over alcohol

heres a religeous point of view. God made it, it doesnt have to be processed by man to do what it does, so smoke it:) even recreational use isnt bad as long as your 18. I know u wanted to hear the other side, but i saw mary jane,and just had to put my 2 sense in. I could sit here all day and name reasons it should be legal, compared to the 5 mins it would take me to name the negative effects. Kids r smokin legal (herb) which has chemicals sprayed on it my man. Its mostly synthetic. Wtf. That $hits killin people and its legal. Let me stop cuz i could go on forever.

It's all because of money. Someone would lose money if pot was legal so they lobbied hard to outlaw it an won

The main issue I've heard most people say is that pot is an introduction drug, that a majority of the people who try pot will get into other drugs. If you have to go to drug dealers that are selling under the radar, odds are they do other worse drugs and will try to get you to buy them or try them. Otherwise there really isn't anything wrong with just pot alone.

@MelissaFae: i agree with that its a gateway drug, cuz of experience, but if they would legalize it you wouldnt be getting it from drug dealers that r trying to push other drugs on u. U would get it at every corner store or grow it yourself.

the really messed up part is that its illegal everywhere under federal law. But yet it the federal government that is taxing the dispenseries. Basically the fed government is sellin dope.

I have mixed feelings about it madicinally yeah its great. Its a muscle relaxer and mild pain reliever and has mood stabalizing effects but ive got family that smokes it every chance they get and i will say their memory isnt what it used to be. I do agree that it should be legalized just for the fact that it can be very usefull and its much less cancerous, if at all i cant remember lol, than tobacco.

@lonemuse: people get older and loose their memory. Thats nature. People get blackout drunk and loose their memory, and end up waking up in jail, or kill someone else while driving drunk. Cant forget about ole alcohol poisoning. Yet alcohol is legal. Theres never been a case of overdose from pot. Ever. And if u dont want cancer, eat it or vaporize it.
