I'd go to the hospital Rayne. If its serious, longer you wait, the worse it'll be./too late if its a serious venom hit.

I will say I know there's a spider that has a similar mark like black widow but its flipped (the red hourglass-like mark), so could be harmless but better safe than sorry.

since your having muscle spasms would probably go to hospital, but tea tree oil has always worked for me to treat bite itself. but unless your reaction gets incredibly severe at hospital they will treat symptoms and give you antibiotics to help prevent secondar infection

Not proud of this but the emergecy room HAS to treat you. I have gone twice to the ER for a medical issue and I haven't paid off bills yet, I don't have a job yet, so no health insurance. They HAVE to treat you. Dunno if they persist more if you have job/insurance but they are obligated to treat.

Alright. First... I love Spiders & know a lot about them. Your in Louisana so you live near the traditional Black Widows (w/ the hourglass shape instead of spots) Black Widows dont like living in or near humans dwellings and are normally nocturnal. He female is the only Black Widow that bites humans & typically only if shes disturbed. She produces protein venom which attacks the nervous system, you first sign is pain where biten. Followed by muscle cramps adominal pain weakness & tremors. People rarely die from a Black Widow bite. Early treatment is wise if you homestly believe its a Black Widow bite. I looked up the typical medical treatment

The antivenin available for treatment of black widow spider bites is derived from horse serum. The venom produced by various species of spiders is similar, so the antivenin prepared against one venom is effective against the others. Antivenin is produced by gradually increasing injections of the specific venom in a horse. The horse naturally produces the antivenin used in humans.
The obvious risk for using antivenin is allergic reaction to horse serum, and the bitten person must be skin-tested for this possibility. Although delayed serum sickness is common when horse serum is used to treat rattlesnake bites, it is uncommon when used to treat black widow spider bites (probably because of the low dose needed for relief).
