Any one ever have an Adult Tonsillectomy? I have to have mine out, and have heard some real war stories.... Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated!

I had mine out may 1 2013. U jus really sore & , your throat hurts alot. You have to eat soup & stuff.

@IrishLove1988: I was eleven when mine were removed-heard it was harder on adults, but hell its just the removal of a fatty tissued lobe in your throat.. no big deal:) sore throat is my biggest memory of it-oh, and popsicles...lots and lots of orange hospital popsicles:) Good luck to you-heal quickly!:-)
