Why friends say 'im gonna stop bein ur friend if u get with them!' and get all pi ssed off. I understand the whole carein and not wantin em to get hurt but come on what are we in grade school?

Well if u had a friend that was being abused physically or verbally after a while of that friend not listening to advice and keep going back, sometimes its best to let them live their own life cuz everytime they get hurt u as a friend get hurt to

dude if they are your friend and they act like that then that means they are more into you than you think they are. unless... they know a little bit more about that person then you do and they warn you. i dont know other than those two options

Most of the time it's just jealousy and insecurity. Afraid you'll like THEM more than Me. you might find a common ground with a new friend and slightly ignore the old one. Thats not a good thing. to have a "friend" that feels they HAVE a right to controll you. a true friend will hold your hand while you stumble and fall. thus letting you grow as a person. When your lesson's been learned, picks you up and helps dust you off.

I just thought a friend a true friend stands beside u no matter who ur with. I have 4 best friends id never even dream of not bein there friend cus of who THEY CHOOSE to b with. Maybe i value my friendships better idk. 4 best friends one in ? I have been friends best of friends with 4 17 yrs its a she never even thought of her any other way

its like the song says "you find out who your friends are" true friends drop what they are doing to help you out spiritually, emotionaly, physicaly, financially, mentaly what ever. but seriously if its a woman friend that says that to you it means shes been into you for a while and you have missed the signs "tear drops on my guitar" by taylor swift probably explains how she feels about you

@THEOneRomeoCowboy: people mature at differant paces. while you may have a grip on mature friendships, like you just described, your friend may have a more matured view of insight. this is why we have friends. to pick-up and aid us in our own personal immaturaties.
