Religion based question, for both sexes... (by IrishLove1988)

So, I'm curious. How important a role does religion play in your choice of significant other? For example... If you are catholic, and you really liked someone you were talking to, then you found out they were wiccan/pagan, would that be a deal breaker for you?

His beliefs dont bother me cuz i know what i believe in, but i will and have left because i found out he was a pagan....jus cant handle that. No dis-respect intended to anyone. Everyone has their own beliefs. :)

@Brighteyes1211: Do you mind if I ask... What is it about Paganism that you can't tolerate?

Because a pagan is a cult of devil worshipers as for anything else i dont care what my partner beleives in as long as we have a mutual understang. Pagan is also a no for me. Athiest are cool to they are just non beleivers.

Brats explained it perfectly. I jus dont belief in "cults" so to speak, he told me about having sex as groups & ppl being around dancing & chanting, idk, jus what i was told....i was freaked. And he also degraded my religion because im a believer, flashing his star inside a circle, i had to go.

@brats52005: i disagree with pagans being a cult of devil worshipers. Some of them are yes but others are just misguided. Not that I'd date one but I'm just saying that not all pagans are devil worshipers. Them worshiping a tree doesn't make them devil worshipers. Think that's a common misconception. I could do hours of discussion on this topic tho. What it really comes down to on if they are worshipping the devil or not is how they act. Actions speak louder than words.

Paganism is widely misunderstood. The sad part is, that wiccan often gets lumped in with paganism when they are actually very different. But neither of them is based in devil worship. Wiccan is very much a nature based religion. The great part about it is, no one is telling you how to worship. There are many facets of wiccan and paganism, and every body embraces it in their own way.
