How do i chat with someone and how do i know they won't to chat back

To chat with someone, they must be online at the same time as you. Go to their profile and click on the "Ask to Chat" button. They will receive an invitation to chat with you and your red status bar will show "Awaiting [user's] response...". If they accept, you will be notified via the red status bar at the top with a link to the private chat room where you can both chat. If they decline the chat request or do not answer within 5 minutes, you will also be notified.

@Andres: yeah this confused me too. And it doesn't seem to work with my phone or nobody ever accepts my chat requests. Probably my phone but I wonder if anyone else has had a problem with making chat work? I never get the private chat bar. Tho people could just never want to chat with me lol.

Ive only chatted once and was very difficult cuz my refresh button wasnt refreshing so i never seen his msg unless he sent one and i happen to send one at the same time, it was very difficult, didnt work for me.
