What did you want to be when you grew up? (by bigred1219)
I'm sitting here watching Mr Deeds and got to the part when he ask what you wanted to be when you grew up and what are you doing now. To me the answer was simple. I wanted to be a play by play sports announcer. But instead I'm a truck driver. I want to share along with me.
I wanted to be a mom to 12 boys and wife to a mountain man....instead i am mom to 2 boys and a girl, wife to none...and work in healthcare...good question!
I wanted to play in the NHL ! Now I have an oilfield rentals business. Big difference lol
Wanted to b an indycar driver but i build em now so didnt miss by much lol
I wanted to be a chef... my last job was in a deli kitchen and i hated it, lol, blessing in disguise
When I was in elementary school I used to tell people I wanted to be a psychiatrist, and I honestly did (though I have to say I took satisfaction in the astonishment that ensued). I doubt it will be my career choice but people watching will probably always be a hobby of mine. :)

I wanted to be a scientific lab researcher and study bacteria that mutates into the infections and diseases we have today. I loved Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology but hated Chemistry with a passion. Math more or less hated me back lol But, I made Anthropology my study and currently Criminal Justice/Public Safety Management. I love them! I love working around seniors as a front desk clerk and it's not such a far aim :)
