99.999% yes. Most scammers are in Africa, but they know most people normally wouldn't send money to (or sympathize with) someone that's not from their country, so their scam is to put a fake profile of a Westerner and then claim they are stuck in an African country, so that you don't find it strange when they ask you to send money (for whatever made up reason) to a country in Africa.

I'm broke at the moment had to pay for all these expensive textbooks but ya don't see me going around begging for money...and lying about her mother dying!!?Sheesh she'll regret doing that when her mother really does pass away :( I see a wolf in sheep's clothing preying on the innocent who needs to earn money instead of trying to live off of others....

I had aubree ask me for money for diapers ,when i said i couldnt help her she accidentally replied back with a different profile sunkissedangel12...BUSTED lol

LOL xSinneDx believe it or not i had something very similar happen the other day...it was with a female here on the forums, but it wasnt about money, but she replyed to me thru pm with a different profile, i was like wth?

Wow. Some ppl r just messed up. Lol I like the ones looking for suger momma's; "I've never been w a woman b4 but I'm so tired of men...." then they give u their sob story. I tell them women r crazy n it's not worth it. This chick "lost mins" n was texting me from someone elses phone n was begging me to call her on it. I knew what it was so I just kept ignoring her.
