Here is how I see it. To be shallow is to say I don't want anything to do with you or be seen with you because you don't meet my standards of outward appearance, or you have nothing to offer me materialistically so I'm not interested in getting to know you. But just because you aren't physically attracted to someone doesn't make you shallow. On sites like this, it's important to use a picture because even if someone does like you for you, that doesn't mean they want to have a physical relationship with someone they aren't attracted to. That's one of the ways you can get friend zoned.

Nothing wrong with being in the friend zone. At least there is a chance. Only time you don't have a chance is when you get brother zoned.
