How about a way to tell when a profile was last active so, if you wanna msg them, you know they're still, well, active on the site?

Not a bad idea. Doesnt even have to be in depth, just the date they last logged in would be cool.

They had "date last logged in" below "join date" up until a year or so ago

I've used this site for a while now it's great meet lots friends on here. The forum update was a suprising welcome. But just tossing this out there. It might just be the phone i'm usin not sure, but i remember they used have last time logged in just wondering if its there and my phone or if was taken away.
