You're both very welcomed! :) I was changing the way the forcing of the e-mail confirmation behaved. It was originally redirecting anyone who hadn't confirmed their e-mail to the confirmation page and would not allow them beyond that page. However, that meant that new users weren't getting to explore the site before deciding whether to confirm their e-mail, and we were having too many "dead registrations" that abandoned the registration process before confirming their e-mail. So to help reduce that number of "dead registrations", I made the e-mail confirmation work like the forced verification which gives you full read-access to the site, but without the ability to contact anyone until you confirm your e-mail. Hopefully, it'll improve the stats as I've noticed a relatively significant drop in activity after the e-mail confirmation requirement went into effect.
