I made 4x salary of my bf
I (30F) make almost 4x the salary of my boyfriend (30M). We are incredibly compatible and have discussed the future we want together, but he doesn?t know my exact salary. I work in a well compensated industry, and he knows that I make more than him (he has mentioned it), but I don?t think he fully recognizes how much more I make. I know I will have to disclose this eventually because we plan on being together long-term, but I?m really nervous that he will view me differently or feel weird about how we have been splitting things 50-50 this far. I also don?t want him to feel any lesser-than because I truly consider it a partnership and plan to consider our incomes after marriage as ?household income? and not mine vs. his.
Does anyone have any advice on how to bring it up? When I should bring it up?
TL;DR: How can I best tell my boyfriend my very high salary for future-planning purposes in such a way to minimize him feeling bad about it?
