Option 1) You become 30% better at everything you do. That applies to intelligence, charisma, strength, speed, all your hobbies, your work, etc.

Option 2) You have a hyper-intelligent monkey that can do anything a group of the smartest humans could do, but you're limited to your own personal funding and your secrecy. This monkey will live at your house, and you have to feed him, groom him, and clean up after him. If the government finds him, they'll obviously try to take him.
