Is ghosting my [25F] cheating boyfriend [25M] going to end up badly?

I found out yesterday that my boyfriend is cheating on me. He went away for a business trip this weekend and will be coming back tomorrow evening. He forgot a bag here and there were condoms inside one of the pockets. We’ve been together for 5 years and haven’t used condoms in 4 years. I decided to snoop through his desktop and found out that he’s been flirting with a coworker who I asked him to maintain distance from.
We lived together so I spent the whole day yesterday packing up my things and crying. I’m heartbroken but knowing he’s unfaithful makes it easier for me to move on because it’s his fault. Not mine. I don’t know if something I did drove him to find someone else but I know I didn’t deserve to get cheated on.
Anyways, he doesn’t know that I found out and I’m planning to simply move out without a trace. I am going to stay with my parents. I know this is petty but I want him to have to deal with losing me without explanation. Is this going to come back to bite me? Do I have this all wrong? Maybe he won’t even care and would be glad I’m gone.
TLDR: Bf of five years is cheating on me. We live together. I’m planning to move out and ghost him before he comes back tomorrow.

I don't see the point here. If he is cheating, then yes...leave. But how he feels when you leave shouldn't matter. If he is cheating then honestly he probably won't care.
