Each time I log into this site, I have a message from admin saying I 'must' use a face picture on my profile. I can't even use a landscape view or similar. now I have nothing to hide, but in these days of Internet fraud and suchlike, I would rather not have my mugshot spread across the ether thank you very much. if, after corresponding for a time with a given individual, and feeling I know them reasonably well, then I may well choose to 'display myself' - but that should be MY decision. while I fully support admins laudable efforts to provide a secure site, I should not be harangued into showing myself if I really don't want to.
am I alone in these thoughts? answers on a postcard please! :0)

If you do not choose to display yourself nobody can or should harangue you into it . Its perfectly alright to go with a pseudonym or pseudoface , whatever its advantages or disadvantages may be .

I know it isn't technically bullying - i was just incensed and it was the first word that came to mind...

And I am still a bit narky about it....
