Those who have ended a close friendship, what's the story behind it? Was it a difficult decision for you?

I dont wanna tell the story but i had to walk away from one my best friend and yes it sucks

I ended a nearly 5yr friendship with someone after they stole from my parents, it sucked but it wasn't that hard. I have moments were I miss them, but... mostly I am just sad for them.

I walked away from my best friend Josh. It was hard as hell, but had to be done. I still check up on him every so often, he wrote last month, once he got into trouble again, but i didn't write back. Hence, walking away...gotta learn when enough is enough. Eventually some friendships turn into eyesores, our friendship harmed me more then it helped me. Breaks my heart.

I had a gf from middle school up to senoir year, broke up with her, then her and me became friends but i was the only one keeping her from doing meth becuz no one else knew she was doing it, i stoped talking to her after an argument about where she's gettimg the drugs. then second year into college i heard she died from over dosing.

That's really sad.
